Receiving the Gifts of Travel with Rodrigo Esponda
Rodrigo Esponda knows tourism. As the current Managing Director of Los Cabos Tourism Board, and with 16 additional years working for the Mexican Tourism Board in North America, his experience and perspective of tourism are expansive and illuminating.
Rodrigo and Christine discuss the beauty of small group experiences and how to truly steep oneself in the culture, food, and art of the destination. There is so much synthesis between nature-based travel and wellness, and they discuss how the market - especially in Los Cabos - moving towards the positive impact tourism can have. For those who fear the implications that the global pandemic will have on the travel industry, Rodrigo's positivity about the future of tourism will certainly be heartening. The travel industry was saturated prior to COVID-19, but Rodrigo believes the new, post-pandemic iteration will be more intimate and unique.
